Ok, so I haven’t been posting for the last fortnight. I’ve been a bit snowed under by various things, in particular exams and a presentation at Uni, being accepted into a decent Roleplay guild on Star Wars Galaxies and doing my radio show.
Thankfully, fate intervened to return me to work on the Blog. Specifically, I’ve been made a Moderator of the Gaming section on the Glasgow based Alternative Nation forum. It’s a pretty big commitment, especially as one of the reasons I was suggested for it was to help implement a new tag system, but it also means that I’ll be posting news and reviews in two different places.
So, what this means for both AN and MachNerd, is that there will be more regular content, more reviews by myself, the possibility of doing some interviews and getting my hands on some preview games and better coverage for both sites. Woop!
PS. It has come to my attention that there are some display issues with MachNerd’s theme (It’s called Garland and was briefly available as a WordPress standard template. I’m not sure if it still is.) I have contacted WordPress support about this and I’ll try and get it sorted or replaced with another theme as soon as they get back to me. Apoligies for any difficulties reading the site in the meantime.
The problem with the theme has now been fixed. It was due to my bad CSS coding, and since I haven’t touched the CSS since before Christmas, I’m not sure what triggered the problem or how long it had been like that. Woops.
